At KidHire, your child's safety is our top priority and primary mission. We help you balance their needs to promote their business and service their customers, with your desire to keep them safe and out of harm's way. Here's what we're doing to fulfill this mission:

  • If your child is under 18 years of age, we will let you know when they create an account on the site
  • We have a Safety Center where we list tips on how to keep your child safe
  • Parents approve all content on their child’s site when it’s created, before it’s viewable to the public.
  • Parents are notified via email when their child edits their page.
  • Parents can view the page and either approve or block the edits their child made.
  • Your child will not be allowed to list their phone number or email address on the site
  • All of your child's promotional content (website, flyers, business cards, etc) will ONLY list the URL of their website. Example:
  • Any potential clients who reach out to your child for services will only be able to contact a custom email address (not your child's personal email)
  • When a potential customer emails your child’s custom KidHire email, you will see the communication and be able to block the communication. If blocked, that person will never again be allowed to contact your child.
  • You will be copied on all future messages between your child and the client.
  • At any time, you can block or deny a specific communication between your child and the client (both ways)
